Dear All,

Here are some pictures of our standard SJ410 (on COLWAY MT's 195/15's) on a trip to the Lake District, which included Derbyshire on the way and some of Yorkshire too! We went in October 2008 with our friends James and Claire with their 2" lifted van 413 complete with cage and winch.

Hi there,

If I had thought about it I could have done some as replies rather than seperate posts, cheers for sorting it out for me!

It just goes to show what a standard SJ is capable of. We had a great time, as the look of concentration on our faces shows!

It took some real punishment too. some of the inclines on the roads were 25%! That obviously didn't help the head gasket!

On the lanes it took some punishment too. We had it airbourne on the front at one point by accident whilst trying to kepp a bit of momentum up. Our friend James is not usually fazed by anything but even the look on his face was that of certainty that a half shaft was to break, but nothing did!

Hope your MOT is a breeze Bourneyo!

They are all on OS Maps, although our friends did most of the research and spoke to the local Councils ang Glass reps, it's just a case of getting the right maps and joining Glass to ask the local rep what's good and what's not!

Get your maps out and get out there, but don't go alone on many of these as they were largely ones you need to think about what you are doing to avoid damage!
