3 cyl Diesel SJ

Post by lazy rambler » Wed Nov 30, 2011 8:39 pm

Has anyone else seen this on ebay, it's a 410 with a 900cc 3cyl Kubota diesel. That's gotta be mega slow.
:blackside: 2" Shackles, 31" x 10.5" Buckshot Mudders, 1.6 8V with SU :blackfront:

Now a build in progress

I love the quote 'quite slow on the road

really I never would have thought a 24bhp engine designed for use as a hydrolic pump would be slow

Oh dear, that's got to be gutless! The standard 410 engine's something like 45bhp and 65ft/lbs

It's going to be so underpowered the mpg will go down surely.
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

Please take it for a test drive and report your findings  there is one major benifit, its gotta be a lot lighter than most other diesels  not sure if I could handle that though, I got really bored driving my dads work hack while my golf was off the road it's a 1.9 n/a diesel mk3 golf van, Damn it was slow.
