Re: Scottie's Zuke
looking really close now!
Me and Trotter are trying to look for some space to rent but it all seems either way to expensive or only small single garages.
Will just have to keep searching I think!

She's getting there, yeah I was looking for a while and couldnt find anywhere decent for a good price but then had a chat to a farmer friend and they had a spare corner in one of the barns, well it was a spare corner after 2days of sorting, tidying and some very dusty sweeping

Cheers guys
Well if you decide you do want Sammy axles I have some axle cases, front shafts and Cvs so all you would need to find is some rear shafts and to move the perches ferris
I'm gonna crack on this weekend and try and make some good progress

Cheers matey I got the golf gti out of the workshop today so I can crack on with it now it'll be good to get back to working on a vehicle I actually want to work on also got the LJ over to the yard as well so I'll get some good pics of all its rust tomorrow.
Re: Scottie's Zuke
Just read from start to finish at work over the past 2 days, comeing allong nicely now i work shifts and now have wednesday through till sunday evening off so going to try and get mine out of the workshop. i have cut my softtop down so it drops down the back of the cab and overs the roof after some re glueing of the flaps that shut in the doors and have been thinking there must be another way of filling the gap where the softop ends and the floor rather than buying sheet and trying to cut it to exact shape. i like your idea with the rear door so think i may marine ply it for now till i find a back door.
Keep up the good work i have been reading through a couple of build threads and seems to be all about TAX and MOT :( I am from Jersey ( Channle Islands ) and we dont have any of that which makes owning an SJ a bit easier
looking forward to seeing some pictures when it is finished,

Thanks Ben I fixed a lot of the corrupted pics yesterday so if there's any that you couldn't see before then sorry about that, we had a bit of an issue moving servers recently
Glad my thread could give you a bit of inspiration, my advice on making a bulkhead with a tailgate would be to take your time doing the cut outs for the wheel arches as it can be a nightmare to get a good fit. Make them too small at first and then take a tiny amount off at a time, when I made my first one I made a cardboard template but when I actually transferred it to the metal the cut outs ended up being too big, luckily I wasn't using a tailgate for the first one I made though otherwise it would have gone to waste.
