Thanks Ian, I was impressed at the fan, and the fit is pretty good too, 14" for reference, think it was about £25 off ebay, just need to get a proper thermostat controller thing.
Bought something for my truck today, something that will not help it get through the MOT something that will not make it any better off road, or faster or safer, however, it does mean i will have a place to but my shopping, camping gear and anything else that i might use a boot for
i shall make a rig so it can be bolted down or removed with ease, maybe make it a bit more waterproof too

I would bolt it to the bed from the inside of the box, and Maby seal it it some how to keep water out. You Can put what ever you want it then and it's easily removable. Tidy job. Looking good

Cheers. Saw that model elsewhere but advertised for certain models of cars.
I was just searching '12v fan' which mainly showed up Chinese crap to plug into cigarette lighters.
Looks like I might have mastered Vit rad and viscous fan combo now. Will have to wait and see when I put the front clip back on.

Re: justaddmud's kja build (code named MK5)
I used on my MK2 project (another LWB) the rad and fan from a mk1 1300cc micra, was a thick rad, and had a built in fan and thermostatic fan switch, and because it was big, (bigger than the SJ rad anyway) it worked a treat
just cant find the old micra's about any more
