oil pressure guage
got a tim oil pressure guage , but bit unsure on how to put the pipe into the engine pluss were to screw it into

You will need something to screw into the existing pressure switch hole.
If you still want the light on the dash to work you will need a splitter so both can be fitted

The oil pressure switch is a 1/8 BSP thread (also known as BSPT, British Standard Pipe Taper thread) you can get T-pieces to fit that so you can still run the original warning light as well

you sure man, its says 1/8" NPT
thanks though saved me alot of time
so to some things up i need to find a T peice with one end being a 1/8 BSP thread and the other being a 1/8inch NPT

I think the adaptor I linked to above should be the right one. Assuming all SJ pressure switch threads are 1/8 bspt (I have no idea!)

Tom, I could go grab you one from merlin its 5mins from my house and post it out to you if you want, would work out cheaper, royal mail would be like £1 tops
