Is this isolation switch just for safe working/maintenance on the vehicle or does it have to meet any regulations. If not just remember to switch the engine off before using the isolation switch.

i dont plan going to any regs or msa shizzle
i just want to briefly know how to wire the kill switch up so it will kill everything completly ignition , engine , lights etc

I forgot about the generation of the alt, hmmm, surely the main pier cable from the alt runs to the positive battery terminal if you put the switch after the cables commoned it would be a kill switch
