annoying isn't it
I was going to get another manifold, and get all the peices cut and ready, then get someone to weld it all together.
I too am not a fan of the buldge (and still have the words bike and carbs in my head)

I've just been thinking that tonight, who do I know that can weld aluminium, um, to be honest the list is at 0 at the minute lol

This chap seems to be the best fella for doing manifolds. I don't personally know him but over the years on "Difflock" he has done lots. Has the skills and the experience.

Why couldn't suzuki have just made the thermostat a part of the head like all the other?
would make new manifold making so much simpler

Just have a fan that is off unless it's too hot
Works fine for off roading and around town... not so good for motorway driving though!!!

Yea, it would be for a su, I've got plenty of time before I'm at the stage I need it. Will sort some thing out.

Don't forget that the 16v manifold is cast in several bits and bolted together. You could unbolt bits and make up a steel part to bolt on
