1.6 su carb on a 1.3 sammy?

just bought a 1.6 carb and manifold, i know it'll bolt on but will it run ok already set up for a 1.6?

It would run, I doubt it would run very well though, probably not enough to go off road in it.

Re-jet it first to save taking it off again to do it once you realise its pants ;)

all sorted now gonna order a needle on monday the spring has got a little red paint on the bottom red spring? lol
i don't really wanna post another thread and waste space or whatever lol so here goes... my original carb worked fine until i went to korc :cowboy::
it now won't tick over and backfires under deacceleration, was just gonna leave it untill the needle comes :) but...
the snows here and thick soo i want it now! :lol: any advice on what it could be, my dad reckons a pipe just come off and it's taking to much air and cutting out?

It wont run that badly unless the needle is wayyyy wayyy wrong. The 1.6 and 1.3 engines have quite a similar needle profile. You shouldn't really need to put a new jet in it.

If it was running on a 1.6 it should be dead easy to get it running on your 1.3.

I say stick it on, then stick the needle in later. It's only like 4 screws to change the needle afterwards

i'll try it before i buy a new one then, it's a bfm needle
it can't be any worse than that turd it's got now

BFM needle is correct for the 1.6 engine

When I got mine I ran it for a while on something like an AUZ or an AAZ...
