Thunderbird 5
picked up another one today!
This one has been on Gumtree for a month or so now, I knew a few people who were looking for one but I couldn't convince anyone to take it!
I didn't really want another one but the price got to £400 ono I couldn't ignore it any longer and called the guy up.
He's had loads of interest from down South but nothing was happening so I went for a run down to the Borders to see it today.
Its a standard Japanese 88 Samurai with a set of new looking Colway C tracks, with a spare soft top and in overall great condition.
Body is excellent, not a hole to be seen anywhere, he did describe it as in good condition but I've seen my fair share of "good condition" Samurai's, usually you can stick your hand through the holes in the front footwells and at the front and back of the rear arches
I offered him £300 and he took my hand off!
Got it home this afternoon, took it for the obligatory 2 hour offroad test and had a right good look over it.
can't fault it (well apart from the brown dash)

Re: Thinderbird 5
That sounds like a bargain.
Shame about the dash but I suppose it adds to the character.
