I will be glad to take questions on anything posted. I also have more detailed pics on all the subject matterthat I will share except the inlet . I had not planned on ever making another inlet so there were no detailed pics of it.

I know it takes you a long time to do so using dail-up.

I'm sure everyone is going to love the attention to detail that you have put into this build :doublethumbs: I have enjoyed following it on ZK and the ZU.

Some really impressive work that you've obviously thought a lot about!

What's your workshop like??? Do you machine the parts yourself?

I am still loving the bike carbs!
I wonder how many horsepower they would get from my 1.6 16v sidekick/tracker/vitara engine.
Its 96hp when new...

I wouldnt be doing it immediately but something to think about in future ;)

The Shop equipment:
I have a gap bed lathe, milling machine, Miller 250 mig welder, belt sander, buffer, press and the tooling for the machines and a very large rollaway with a bunch of hand and air tools.

Do I do my own machining?
Yes, I have been an aircraft machinist, tool and die, general job shop machinist for 32 years. I have also built a bunch of custom motorcycles, Hotrods and trucks through out this time span as well.

HP is something that needs to be figured out in the proper parts that you will need to achieve your desired goal. With that being said the carbs should give you a noticeable difference if you get them setup properly. There are several expensive gages and sync tools that are needed to tune them.

The 16v intake is also an irregular shape so you may want to cut it down as a starting platform.

If I'm not happy with this motor I have another motor in mind. 1.3 Swift short block, !.6 16v head and 36mm bike carbs with another machined intake.

For those wondering if I would make them one. This one took me 260 hours to make at 100 US dollars an hour. I only make one off's for myself since retirement.

Here is the 4 inch Extension mounted on the 6 Shooter arm with an Anti Rotation Deflection Bracket added. The Bracket is mounted to the extra front ears on the 6 Shooter Knuckle and bolted to the Extension and 6 Shooter Arm with a 9/16 Grade 8 bolt.

The addition of the 4” Extended High Steer arm and the 1” Notched Frame Mod. That brought me into to the 5 degrees steering geometry angle that I was shooting for. The Rig is going to be a Pavement Pounder so the steering had to function as close to stock as possible.
