My name is Leon and I'm from South Africa. I dont own a Samurai, but I'm using my dads one due to selling my car. It has a Nissan A15 (1500cc) carb motor. I just resealed the carb cause it had a 2mm gap half way around the base plate. Stripped it, cleaned it and sealed up nicely. She was on about 3-4km per litre (8-11 MPG)
now on 6-7 km/l (16-19 MPG) I know its running VEERRRY rich. did service on motor the morning, mid day the spark plugs were black already. Please could someone advise on how to set the carb in or if someone else has a simmilar set up share some info on how to improve. Thanks in advance.
