Is driving with no doors legal?

Hi, i fancy using my sammy with no doors this summer, but how legal is it, i know i will have to remount the mirrors on to the body but is that it?

I just saw a snatch landy drive past my house with no doors on, so I guess so. But you'd have to check.

Any time it's sunny the doors come off!

I got stopped by plod last year for speeding (yes in the zook) and he didn't mention the lack of doors. I would advise sticking a mirror on the top of the door frame though.

mr mot told me last year i could get an mot with no doors or windscreen

That will do me! just not sure were i can mount the drivers side mirror as my snorkle is in the way?

cable tie it too the snorkel bit of duck tape no problem ;)

Use a motorbikes 'cranked' arm type universal mirror, then mount it through your scuttle pan or make a bracket & fit it on your windscreen hinge

I used an old bike mirror, a bracket from the local hardware shop (had to drill the hole out a tad) and bolted it thusly. You get a lovely view of your elbow but it keeps plod happy!
