vacuum hose on standard 8v carb

can someone tell me were is the vacuum hose on my engine so i can put a t peice in and put my vacuum guage in

pics would be easier :lol:

Why do you want a vacuum guage? There's no need whatsoever on an SJ engine?

I know mine is a weber but the inlet manifold is the same.The x2 stabbings which the Orange pipes attach to will give you the pressure/vaccum in the inlet manifold.

neither can I.

Basically one of the little brass fellas that stick out of the area of the manifold under the carb.

Will try find a photo now.

on this photo either of the bits where the bits of pipe have been doubled back to blank pipes off would be good
