rear door cards,
rear door cards,
hello,
i need a bit of help finding some templates for the rear door cards if anyone could help. i want to have some new cards made up but i need some sizes to go from. i haven't been able to find any on the internet so it would be great if someone could draw a template for me as i don't have any cards in the rear at the moment to go from. also its a soft top.
thanks for all the help
Joe

Re: rear door cards,
And if its the arches card you need I have a few kicking about. Best bet would probably be to draw an outline on a (big) piece of paper and send it to you.

Re: rear door cards,
Will measure mine later.
I made it slightly undersize so it dosent have bits to catch you sticking round the door.
Have a look at my build thread and let me know if its the size you are after abd I will post the measurements up.

Re: rear door cards,
here you go. All in mm
The little cut out is for the retaining cable that stops the door from opening too far so its up to you whether you want that.

Re: rear door cards,
The door handle section is raised on your rear door, so I used x2 pieces of mdf & cut out the backing piece to clear it, of your using thin stuff you should be alright as its only raised around 10mm but it makes it awkward to fit your card flush if your making your card out if something non flexible
Re: rear door cards,
brilliant, thanks for all the help guys, i have fitted the fronts and they look great, i will post pictures as soon as i fit the rear ones.
thanks again
