Re: SU Carbs
When I was going to fit an SU I bid on an SU plenum from a turbo metro, it looked about bob on for the sj intake but it was a guess, I also had some hif/38 swan necks from a mini but sold them when i sold the carb, how about a ram pipe then jubalee your hose onto it?
heres a ram pipe.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CLASSIC-MINI- ... 2a181892b4

Re: SU Carbs
Thanks Luke. If I win the carb, I'll buy one of those, and they should arrive at roughly the same time.
If I need to, where can I get the needles and springs from? eBay again?

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

Re: SU Carbs
Cheers. I just had a look at the site. It's not cheap, but I suppose if I need a needle and spring I'll only have to buy them once.

Re: SU Carbs
Is this suitable for a 413? (with correct spring/needle fitted)

Re: SU Carbs
That is a HS SU carb, might as well give it back. You want an HIF38 SU carb for a 410 I personally would just stick with the standard carb though.Jay18 wrote:ive got myself a SU carb for free and i havent a clue what type it is, anyone help?
