Re: transmission brake shoes
So after that info from "rockwatt" I've been searching again and have now found a diagram for a Spanish tranferbox handbrake. So a new diagram for comparison.

Re: transmission brake shoes
Can anybody spot the difference ?
The Spanish has a squire peg adjuster on the outside and the jap has internal adjusters accessed through 2 hole in the back plate and the ends of the shoes are profiled to the type of adjuster.
Ps the drums, cable, shoe retaining clips are all the same.
The shoes are also used on the back brakes on some cars but I can't remember what cars now.
Could probably find out from the part numbers though.
