Wipers ????

My wipers have stopped working propley, they now need a help for them to work as if the motor has give up. has this happened to any one else and what was the fix thank Andy. Also are all motors compatible

Sounds like the brushes may be worn out. I have no idea if these can be replaced, but I doubt it.
If possible connect a voltmeter in series with the motor and see when its running that it gets 12v as it won't if there's a bad connection.
