sj front clip

Post by ianedwards » Tue May 15, 2012 10:31 am

hi,

what i am wanting to know is if a samurai front clip would fit on a 413, is there any differences in size, length ect or would it be a strait swap.

looks the same to me but would just like to ask before i bought any thing.

cheers

Cant see any reason why it wont fit.

Obviously it has the flange for the wider arches welded to it which wont match the rear arches of the 413.

Oh and the sidr repeaters are in a different place so may need some cables moving about.

mine needs a load of work doing to it, wings and arches are well rotten. if i could get a decent one and just plonk it on, it would save so much time.

arches dont matter because i havent made the rear yet,

plus bigger arches would be a bonus, less work (thinking about some wheel spacers)

there looks to be a decent one on ebay, if it goes for the right price i might go for it.

its just adding the price of fuel on top, 3.5hr trip one way.

They are all interchangeable and the same apart from the arch lips as dan has said, that's not really an issue though ;)

tidy. i think i might replace rather than repair then.

will save a good few hours work that could be spent on finishing other things.
