hi there can anybody help me i am thinking ov putting a mazda 1.8 v6 out of my mx3 pocket rocket in a sj will it fit or is it going to be a ball ache cheers stephen

I would've though the biggest problem would be to join it all together. there's plenty of room for a V6 in there if you can get it mounted.
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

If there's a rwd gearbox that mates up to that engine and it will physically fit in the engine bay then it shouldn't be too hard :doublethumbs:

You'll just need to fab engine and gearbox mounts and a make a custom propshaft to join the gearbox to the transferbox

Quite a few people have fitted Mazda rotary lumps into SJs in the States.

That is a nice looking LJ where do the aluminium bodies come from? Is there a company that makes them?

They only do SJ Tubs not LJ ones, the first one is home made Luke, don't know about the green one?
