I've been cheekily parking for work in Bath on a road that has been resurfaced and they haven't re painted the double yellows for about a month now and somehow avoided a ticket in the process! however i got back to my Vit to find they had painted around it! and they still didn't give me a ticket! think i should keep parking in my Vit sized space haha

I think you'll find that they cant really give you a ticked......due to the space and the fact that double yellows need to be finished with a bar at each end...technically you could park anywhere on those lines....providing they dont finish them while your gone.

yer man wicked id keep useing it till they gave me a ticket then argue it.
is there any signs saying they're gonna do works or even no parking sings red circle
an cross with blue back ground, or a yellow plaque with times an a smaller red circle.
coz they may post you a ticket an bill you for the works to be finished.

but saying that i remember waching tv an there was one off them horra parking fines on.

any way they had a busines man with a bmw working in london that had one day come to find
a ticket an yellow lines on an under his car, the company that was doing the marking had a hi ab
an was lifting the car painting there lines an putting it back with a nice ticket,

ow an some foreign place they painted the lines ova the car think that was a gag

ive worked in bath three times over the past year. and ive got two parking tickets, and thats in loading bays were im ment to be!. i would say your a lucky fellow. but i love the way they painted up to your zuk.
