Injured

Post by charger » Tue Jun 26, 2012 1:00 pm

off road injury school boy error my thumb & base of thumb got banged up at the weekend at a pay & play, the steering wheel gave my poor thumb a right whack. Ripped ligaments & damaged tendons. No breaks so it's just swollen & bruised. I also broke a brake hose whilst on a decent nearly shit my shorts.

Not good matey! we've all been there, well maybe not quite that badly but I've caught my thumb a few times eventhough 99.5% of the time my thumbs are outside the steering wheel

You have to do the same with crank handle starting cars. Keep your thumb outside the handle so if the engine fights back it just slips past your palm.
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.
