410 Dash In Samurai

Post by dcallaghan2011 » Wed Jul 11, 2012 6:14 pm

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew if a complete dash from the later 410's (complete plastic ones) would fit in my sammy as I prefer the round vents that can then be used for the clocks,

Cheers,
Dan

Ok thanks for that, the reason I say 410 is I may be able to get hold one from a 410, if not I'll have to look out for a 413 one,

Cheers,
Dan

yes it should but I think the heater pipes might be different and i'm not 100% sure if the clocks fit in the 410 dash? might be able to make them fit though.

Hi, ok, not to bothered about the heaters, I think I would be able to get hold of 410 pipes if it was a problem, if the clocks don't fit how hard would it be to wire in the 410 clocks? Mine doesn't have a rev gauge so shouldn't be to different?

Thanks,

Dan

Pictures of Rhino Special 87/175 made.
It's greyish as they all were but I the colour balance on my phone in the rain makes it look blueish (the wall behind it is terracotta).
It has all of the switches + choke, bonnet and heater cables attached.
The medallion on the dash says 87 of 175 made.
There is a small crack on the glove compartment door and the lock missing. I can't find the ash tray at the monent.
Roger.

Hi, bit of an update, got the old dash out today and the 410 one sort of in so far, all the bolt holes to mount it line up nicely but I need to get to heater controls and heater fascia plate from somewhere as they are slightly differently shaped, the 410 one seems to be more curved and a tiny bit longer than the sammy ones, also as ScottieJ said previously the clocks do need a bit of modifying to go on but shouldn't be too difficult, the heater pipes that I am using are the same luckily as I don't need the ones that go to the round vents,
