alrite guys!
goin on a bit of a road trip next month to dartmoor
its not amazingly far from bournemouth but does anyone have an opinion on what spares to take.. (besides a inflatable dingy for the rain)
not that its gonna brake down.. ahem.
but better to be safe than sorry IMO

70 miles??
I've got a wee kit I carry..
complete spare distributer
a couple of long plug leads
spark plug
fan belt
alternator
small tool kit (sockets/screwdriverspliers etc)
cable ties
tape
length of wire (electrical and fencing wire)
radweld
tyre weld (check your spare before you go, especially if its been hidden under the cover for a year or two)
torch
ratchet straps (invaluable for holding drivetrain/chassis/suspension parts in place)
breakdown cover!

2.various strops n shackles
3.mobile phone
4.cb radio
5.gloves
6. various sizes of ratchet spanners
7.socket set
8. big hammer

11. gaffa tape n few zip ties
12.wire cutters, cable , fuses etc
13. breaker bar
14,suitable jack
15. bit of water for rad
and 16 the most important thing ever

lol cheers lads.
i had most of that in mind, although i dont have a spare alternator lol
got a recovery strop attached at all times
i have do doubt she'll be ok but its always best to be prepared!!
some new rear tyres are goin on, and it was recently serviced when i done the head gasket
im gonna be just outside tavistock so im hoping to find some nice trails out there to explore! nothing too crazy seein as im pretty far from home but should be cool.
wanna find a cargo net for me bonnet too

dammit lol
basically, she's gonna be used as a bit of a work horse for a few days, moving equipment about.
seen some sort of green lanes/ gravel/ rocky tracks to get me to where i want.
doesnt look to harsh, but ill go prepared.
its not heavy stuff, but the zuke goes where everyones 'normal cars' dont go, so it has the advantage
