Hi folks.
Bought is SU carb off ebay last week. I was told it was a Hif44 from a metro. Having looked at Suzuki carb conversions I noticed I had this part extra on mine. Could you please tell me what it is please?
The bottom of the part are two spare connectors.
Part number on the carb is: FZX1428 and 9WK-332
I hope someone can help, I really hope I've not bought the wrong SU carb
Thanks Folks
Can someone tell me what this is on my SU carb??

According to the link below it is a solenoid.

Probably to stop the engine running on, so will need a live attaching to it from the ignition.
(I think).

Assuming you only have the solenoid I would assume after reading that, that it closes when power is supplied ? Therefore you don't need to do anything with it. However as said the opposite may be correct and a ignition supply may needed. The original carb has this black/white wire to it's solenoid anyway (assuming the SU solenoid is 12v?)
