What year is your SJ?

If it's a type 1 or 2 (pre-'85) It will undoubtedly be a skinny prop version. After that though things get a bit dubious.

I'd say it is PROBABLY a fat prop then, but don't rely on my guess being right.

Sounds like a skinny to me then. That's what I'd guess mine to be too.

Shall we start a list.....

1600, engine + carb + radiator
1300, flywheel + clutch + gearbox + Sump? + oil pick-up pipe? + skinny starter

Make new engine mounts and gearbox mount

Have read the gearbox tunnel needs modifying ???
Does the short prop from the 413 go straight onto a 410 transferbox??
I assume you weld the engine mounts to make the short prop the correct lenght???

Exhaust , which one???

Well it's a start. Feel free to copy paste and add bits or edit my balls-ups :D

it's all in the engine code.

All F series engines have interchangeable heads and blocks

All G series engines have interchangeable heads and blocks

an Fseries head won't fit a Gseries block and vice versa

If yours is an 87 then all you'll have the fatter props fitted (skinny are only about 1" in diameter)
You'll need to modify the drivers side engine mount and as Darrell says. no other mounts or the transmission tunnel should need modifying.

1600, engine + carb + radiator
1300, flywheel + clutch + gearbox These are not essential but save a dent in the sump and grinding the engine block > Sump? + oil pick-up pipe? + skinny starter

Either a 1300 or 1600 exhaust or make your own.
