fitting aftermarket temp guage and sender...

Post by Jay18 » Mon Sep 24, 2012 10:44 pm

im planning on fitting a new temp guage and sender, i have wound the kit that connects into the rad hose, but which hose should i fit it into?
bottom or top hose? i want a true reading of what the temp of the engine is not after the rad as that wont tell me the true engine temperature...

any help is appreciated...

Just make sure the gauge and sender are compatible. When you buy a gauge you often get the correct sender with it.

yer ive seen the guages with the senders..

and i thought you had a td at some point lol, and i think i will try to make a kit up myself from a silicone hose website..

i found a kit on ebay for fitting a fan to a sj410 but it says the hose is 25mm?

only thing is the fan is £70, is it really worth it? or can i get a fan cheaper somewhere else?

and i can only find the adapters for the temp sender at 28mm..
