99 Vit 8v compression test results - any thoughts please

My 1.6 8v single point injection vit has an annoying oil leak that shows up in the number 2 plug guard and smokes like crazy... So I went and bought a compression tester.. Here are the wet and dry results.. Can anyone offer an insight from reading the numbers..all in psi
Dry one 185 two 173 three 180 four 190
Wet one 195 two 185 three 200 four 210
I hope these mean that my rings are good so a top end overhaul will be sufficient.. There is a bit of mayo in the oil filler cap and I must admit I suspect the head gasket.. But would I get these sort of numbers if there was a prob with the head gasket?
