Seatbelt bar in the back of an SJ, do i need it in my van SJ

just want to know if i need the bar that connects the front and rear seatbelts, the ones that go accross the rear windows...

MOT on wednesday so need to know if the car needs them..

I don't think so I've got it in my zook I have no idea why if the bolt is nice and tight it should be alright

yer i think its okay but i just want to know if they had them on the van version of the sj from factory..

i wouldnt think so i thought it was to protect the window a bit from inside but hey theres prob a nother reason why they are there

yea, i think its to help support the rear seatbelts...

thanks scottie, i just didnt want to go through the MOT and find she fails on a silly piece of metal haha..
