:rhinohump: hi lads tony here the twin choke carb on my sj413 is playing up .i dont think its an original webber as theres no webber markings on it does anyone know if its a

chinese copy .the small rubber seal on the needle on the float chamber has failed and it runs for a while and then floods realy bad and wont start again .ive ordered a sytec twin choke dgva/dgv webercarb service kit off ebay hopeing that its the right service kit to repair it .

hmm that doesnt look like the webbers usually fitted to sj`s

could it be a nikki carb?

I'll see if my dad recognises it. I thought Webbers usually had squarer ducts or whatever they're called.

:rhinohump: im nearly sure its a chinese copy of a weber carb .like i said theres no markings on it anywhere when it was working it was sound .till the needle seal failed then a right pain in the arse .the service kit i ordered off ebay came this morning .so ive got to wait till monday morning to see if its the right one .knowing my luck it wont be .

my carb is a wtcc twin choke which were fitted to clasic minis aparintaly .from what ive found out there suposed to be better than webers for off roading as they dont die on steep hills .dut i cant find out where to buy parts for it .i typed in wtcc carburetters into google and theres a write up about wtcc carbs and sjs .so if anyone knows where to get parts for this please let me know
