You might be getting carb freeze. I had the same problem with my old weber and snorkal setup. I had to cut a hole in my snorkal pipe so i could connect the hot air feed up.

There is a flexy pipe that attatches to the exhaust manifold and the original air box. It may have been removed when the weber was fitted.

If it was running fine with the weber before, then you fitted the snorkle and now its it shit I think it may be a problem with the snorkle, id check for kinks or anything that would reduce the diameter and cause reduced flow inside it

Can you post a pic of your snorkel set up? What I do is run the snorkel off the original air box and seal it all up with silicone sealant. Then I would dissconnect the hot air feed and fit a rubber glove over the hot air feed intake when out offroading to seal it up for wading.

Ermmm an air filter would be a good idea!!!!! if it was running fine before the snorkel I doubt it's anything to do with the mixture. There's not actually a filter in those snorkel tops is there?

Running an air filter is even more important when running a snorkel. I would refit the air box and run the snorkel from there.

K thanks mate
no ther no filter in ther :(
il sort it after wrk tomoz :)

just conected up the filter with a few mods of the 2" pipe
but it dont bend nice..would 44mm pipe work to join to the existing 2"snorkle pipe as it bends much easyer?
thinkin it will restrict too much air?
