what is the best gearbox and diff oil to use in my suzuki sj 413 smaurai

It's all down to cost really, mineral oil > then semi synthetic > then fully synthetic.

If your planning on doing lots of miles then fully synthetic has a long service life but I use semi synthetic.
Same with the gearbox it's mineral or semi/fully synthetic. Quite a price difference though. I used synthetic but if you go wading I recommend using mineral oil and change it often (but your not going wading are you, too tidy for that :thumbup: )

I know people put breathers on everything but so often the oil still comes out contaminated.
Same applies to transfer box and diff oils.

diff and t box oil is EP90 or ep80/90 i think its called now.

can rememeber the gear box one.

cheapest place for the one litre bottles of comma ep90 is wilkos i found £3 ish when i bought my last lot.

I used EP90 and 10W/40 semi synth

hell that is cheap gear oil for 3.50 might get my hands on some litres
