Tyres tyres tyres????????

Post by ScottieJ » Thu May 21, 2009 6:08 pm

I want some new tyres but I really don't know what to get, all i know is that I don't want remoulds, they have to be 33", wide enough to run on my 10J rims (i.e. 12.50 or wider) and I don't really want to spend more than £150 a tyre

So far the options i have found are

Maxxis buckshot mudders (nice and cheap)
Kumho kl71s (heard lots of mixed reviews)
Maxxis mudzillas (not sure as they are directional!)
Mickey thompson baja claw radials (as above)
Mastercraft courser (is anyone running these yet?)

anyone had any experience with any of these and what do you think of them in the wet boggy stuff??

Steady as she goes!

i have used the maxxis buckshots on a pajero and i loved them, great in the mud and ive done over 5000 miles on them and loads of tread left, bit noisy over 50 mph on the road but nothing major. i will be putting them on my sammi when my wallet allows.

Everyone seems to be liking KL7's

I would like a set in 32 and about 10-12" wide

Saying that £150 a tire is a large sum to play with
