Post by plugspanner » Fri Dec 21, 2012 1:58 pm

any one know what the thread is on the engine block holes are on a 1.6 vitara?
they are not m8, but is suspect metric fine.
just found my steering pump is hanging off and although i have hundreds of bolts none will thread in, the one remaining bolt will not fit any of my nuts either.
hope someone will know
thanks

Yes they are all metric M8x1.25. If you give me some lengths I can send you some, I have 100s of suzuki bolts

that is very kind of you, most of mine are much smaller motorbike bolts.
a selection of lengths from 25mm L onwards would be ok
do you want me to pm my address and how much do you want for them?
thanks

standard m8 bolts are 1.25

ive also got 1000's of bolts out of suzuki's

try running a tap through the threads to clean them out
