Tyre sizes

Post by 88SJ » Thu Dec 27, 2012 1:35 pm

Hi

I'm being a bit lazy cos I expect I could find the info I need somewhere on the interwebsitenet...

I have found someone who has some Daihatsu 7 x 15 alloys that have been refurbed and treated to some BF Goodrich Long trail TA 30 x 9.5 x 15

I have recently got a standard '88 jap SJ413 - anyone know if I am likely to have any issues with the above tyre/wheel fitment?

I don't really want to lift my truck....I've had a lift kit on a previous Samurai other than that every other Suzuki I've had has been standard height and I've fitted BFG 215/75x15 Muds. I expect I will go back to the muds at some point but these Daihatsu wheels and tyres are proper cheap... :brows:

Thanks
Paul

they would rub a little i would say.

think youd need to trim the bumper and bumper bar down. and a few others bits.

Yeah will rub a little depending on offset/condition of standard springs etc.

Will need bumper trim/bulkhead seam folding over/axle moving forward slightly.

Or any combo of the above.
