It could be a CV joint? does it mostly do it while steering?

Morning ScottieJ

I stripped them both off yesterday and there is some kind of pressure ring on the outside of the spring,it has a lip on it and on one wheel ( nearside) the lip on this ring was facing outwards, on the off side it was facing inwards, so i re-greased it faced it outwards and rebuilt it,

will test it when out shooting tonight but in the drive way there is no longer any clicking,

the clicking was happening in all directions when it was happening f/wards/back wards. and turning.

thank you

bob.
