My samurai build

Only ever had pictures in my newbie post so thought illed do my build thread.
Had this about 6 months now

Was going to patch it up but decided to remove the body. Really glad I did now

Dont know if these chassis rot but mine is in really god condition

New wheel arches fitted

Fitted some stainless steel bolts in all the doors roll bar roof etc

Finally left garage today but still need a fuel tank

Looks good! love that blue, but i like the orange even more! It got the attention of that family walking past anyway :lol:

Was that blue a standard colour?

That's a fantastic restoration job. Loving the orange too. Nice work.

I've yet to see one with a rusty chassis 8-)

looks smart nearly blinded me when i seen the bright orange

but them new arches look the job

Thanks for comments.

I need a fuel tank and my o/s/f caliper is seazed. Then I'll take it to work for mot. I'm gonna get a bikini top for it and some insa turbos one day but main thing is get it on the road.

Was going to say I do like that blue........... But orange is so much better, love it

Tidy! Nice looking resto / build. I wouldn't have that colour but it does look awesome. I'm hankering after a dark metallic grey. The colour a lot of tin tops came as standard for mine next.

Love the arches too. Really tidy, and kinda 'neat' build. Keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to seeing how it progresses.
