Kingpin ????
Kingpin ????
This is my first SJ, so I'm not sure if my kingpin is in good order. The actual steel ball is all rusty. Is it suppost to be shinny and polished like on a disco. Can anyone advise please
Re: Kingpin ????
Do you mean the knuckle? If so then yeah it's normal for them to be rusty

Most of them are a bit rusty. I just sand mine down every now and again with just some emery paper and wd40.

All depends how much use you get. But like discs if it sits for even a short time you get rust forming. My discs go rusty whilst im at work.
If used regularly you don't get so much rust. But if its be sat a while at any point the rust may be permanant. Nothing to worry about as said above.
