Re: the no dosh Vitara revamp
Finally some progress to report.
The front bumper is off whilst a mate is fabricating a steel replacement with some decent tow points...just in case
Am also bidding on fleabay for some wing mounted rear lights, when (if) I get them the rear bumper will get the same treatment!
Bit the bullet and bought 4 new tyres, Marix Pumas...had a read about them and they sounded
pretty good for a cheap(ish) tyre, £296 delivered.
Took the idiots 2 hours to change the tyres...they fitted 2 the wrong way round, went back and refitted them only to find out 1 was STILL the wrong way round. And then they had the cheek to charge £55 for the pleasure.
Next up is the home made bash plate and then it's mud time!

Re: the no dosh Vitara revamp
nice! (well except for the tyre monkeys doing the fitting ) marix puma is a new name to me but the tread pattern looks the same as insa turbo sahara's and malatesta cobra's
if in doubt, FLAT OUT!
mans tool kit > duct tape, wd40 and a bfh is all you ever need

Re: the no dosh Vitara revamp
If you mean am I selling the old tyres then I guess so. They are Colway C Trax mud terrains, 215/15, but one has a small bulge on it, they are by no means perfect!
New tyres came from newlifetyres24@aol.co.uk
I saw them on ebay, just type in offroad tyres and they'll be there.

Yes that Staines!
The tyres are in Shepperton (so is the cage lol) but I can bring them to Staines no probs.
