just wired up the 1600 vitara SPI limp into the sj. Is there a way for the standard sj rev counter to work with the vitara engine

I would guess yes, but I'm not sure.
There's three ways of doing things:

Brown (possibly with white tracer) to coil negative as far as I'm aware. I.e. the same way it was wired up before.

I didnt do the wiring so wasnt sure, any pics or how to. Would I have to trace the wire back to the ac ult gauge on dash

I would imagine there will be a brown wire hanging out of the loom near the coil still ;)

I think I rember seeing the wire you talking about from the sj wiring. What do I attach this wire to for the revs to work

Coil negative :thumbup: pretty sure there's a noise suppressor that should be in there as well somewhere though
