tyres....how big can I go? what do you recommend?

Starts at the flywheel, ends at the hubs, any problems along them lines, ask your questions here.

My insa special tracks are 195 80 15 and were just over 29 inch when new
Sid James gone but never forgotten
Jimny 1.6 not as good as an SJ but still good

Thanks, did you go for the 195's over the 215's for any reason?

Which size do people usually go for on sammys?

The 195's are quite a bit cheaper too

It just malfunctioned. I'm home now, just too lazy to go on the computer.

I'm sure its 215/75s on my SJ and they fit totally standard no fouling anywhere.

215/75/15 fit on a standard sj with no rubbing at all I think they are 27 inches

27"? sounds small to me. mine got 6.00 16 tyres on it, and they stand at 29", and don't rub as far as i am aware

When I got them I paid £55 a tyre From Rhino Rays and he only had the 195 so they won :lol:

Ah that's good to hear, I didnt think 215/75/15's would fit with no issues on standard?

Thats good to hear, I recon I will go for them. Struggling to find any decent ones for under 80 quo though
