the leaky dizzy
Anyone know the part number for new dizzy housing gaskets? The one that leaks on most zooms. Well my three all do

Re: the leaky dizzy
It's an O-ring not a gasket
The Case O-ring is apparently 55.5x1.9mm
You could try a BS139V75 (viton) or a BS139N70 (Nitrile) (55.25x2.62mm)
or a 55X2N70 (Nitrile) (55x2mm)
from http://www.polymax.co.uk/acatalog/O-Rin ... lymax.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I need one so maybe we could get a pack of 5/10 and split it?

Re: the leaky dizzy
Liquid gasket. Sorted. Hasn't leaked since.
May do it properly when i swap the dizzy onto the 1600. But i already have the liquid gasket.

Cheers Scottie. I need three so I'd split with you if you wanted to get a pack.ScottieJ wrote:It's an O-ring not a gasket

Re: the leaky dizzy
I'll give a supplier we use at work a call. The poly site is a minimum of twenty order and a min order of £10 , I don't need that many

Re: the leaky dizzy
Well ill have whatever's left over from the order
Ill prob need at least 3, maybe 4.
I seem to remember getting those sizes online ages ago and might be better to get one of the thicker I-rings as they might seal better

Re: the leaky dizzy
For all this is a common thing only my Samurai has ever leaked. Both SJs seem fine.
Let me know how many you have to get and the price bud. When i come down i'll take some off you. Wont't harm to do the 1600 properly and have some spares.
