Citroen did a 4 wheel drive 2cv. It just had another engine in the back!

I remember seeing an old video of those. 2CV 4x4 Sahara Special. Had a second engine and gearbox in the back driving the rear wheels. Advertised as a full 50hp! 25 per engine!
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

yea, i think its quite quirky! i like it. the dual engine one sounds like a very rare and desirable model although that one looks like its just been plopped onto an SJ chassis as it has leaves on the front? and infact that front inner wheel arch looks a little SJ doesnt it?

It looks a lot SJ, even got Aisin freewheel hubs. The rear spring hanger doesn't look right though :er:
