SJ Samurai Sill Wires?

Does anybody knows what the wires are that run down the sills? I have a feeling I may have melted 1 :er:

I'm not sure there shouldn't be any wires in there I think

If its a single black wire I think it go's to the hand brake lever, to work the light on the dash.

If its drivers side beneath the door there should be x2 both for the interior light, they run from the dash to down behind by your driverside footwell speaker, one then goes to your door switch then its switched leg continues through your cill then up the roll over hoop to the interior light, ones a constant 12v the other is a switched 12v from the door switch.
