Weber carb Facet Fuel Pump

Post by Gardiner » Sun Feb 10, 2013 9:51 am

Hi all I have now decided I am going back to the weber route for now so I have a couple of questions
1, On the fuel cut off Single spade connector Black Wire with white tracer does this go to a ignition feed into car ???
2,As i have set a Facet fuel pump on her and I am not using manual fuel pump will it be OK as I have no return to fuel tank.

Thanks in Advance.

Yes and yes

But if your thinking "use this to run the pump" it may be better to use a relay and keep the extra current off the ignition circuit. ???

Sorry I might have confused things
Facet pump is on its own fused relay.
And I will find a ignition feed for the solenoid on Weber carb.

No thats me confusing things
I didn't realise the weber has a fuel solenoid the same as original.
So yes just use the black with white tracer fitted
