ok so long story short I ordered a new caliper. it looks about right but slightly different. ive got a girling breaking system. the back looks the same but the top looks different. also the new one doesn't have two big allen bolts holding it together

Even if they are Jap calipers I think you can just use the jap mounts.
Might be wrong, Scottie will be along to correct me if you can't ;)

Think the new one is a vit caliper uses the same pad but piston is smaller. Possibly.

According to brakesintnational that caliper just replaces the early bolt on bridge type :thumbup:

win! I'll offer it up tonite. there is hardly any difference as the mounts all line up etc. gotta give the sliders a good clean grease up then away we go! :doublethumbs:
