Flywheel wear???

Post by will » Wed Mar 06, 2013 1:47 pm

Clutch was slipping so pulled it all apart. Clutch plate is down to the rivets so thats obvious.
However, how much wear is ok on the flywheel. Should it be flat because if it should then mine is shot.
Its about 2mm deeper where the plate rides than the outside.
Do i need a new flywheel?

Cheers

It should be flat where the clutch friction plate touches. (clutch disc in diagram).
