On the Sj413 with auto choke do u just get in and turn the key ? I did hear you press the throttle once then turn the key to start ?

The auto choke is activated with thermowax, so Im pretty sure you don't need to press the throttle.
Its not gonna hurt it though ;)

Cheers,starter sticking a bit guess this is probly due to being stood 6 yrs ,does a 410 one fit ?

No a 410 starter won't fit the flywheel is further away from the mounting face on an F series engine.

I tried to make one fit a while back and failed :lol:

You can refurb them but not sure exactly how as I usually just chuck mitsi and bosch ones in the bin :P

Some spare parts for mitsi ones here (make sure you check the model number)

On those pages I liked to you, you can buy the whole starter or just the bits
Just be advised these are not really suitable for 1.6 conversions

The couple I've looked at with sticky starters has been nothing more than rust in the solenoid. A strip down, fine emery paper and some WD40 sorted them.
