Vitara poly bushes

Post by offroadmagic » Sun Mar 24, 2013 7:23 pm

I have just bought a full set of polybushes for my vitara, and am having trouble fitting one on the a wishbone. Do they have to be pressed or should they just slide straight on?
Cheers.

Are they the bushes in 2 bits, IE : press in from both sides.
I would expect them to be a tight fit.
Two bits of plate and a threaded rod/bar are good for pulling them in.

Yes they are the bushes you push in from both sides. The treaeded bar idea sounds good so i'll give that a try. If not, i'll try a vice. Thanks for the advice. :S:
