In a good state of tune in standard form you should see 25-28mpg maybe 30 at a push, however as soon as you start adding weight with heavy duty bumpers, larger more aggressive tyres, then all these things will start to reduce the fuel economy.
I get about 20mpg but then I have a 1.6 8v, two transfer boxes and 33x12.5" tyres to turn
I did that journey on just under a tank Dan, then again a recovery truck was involved
My map reading is perfect, just not when I'm trying to drive at the same time

It's not that Karis can't read a map it's just that she always refuses too or gets fed up of it within 20 mins
