If mike is going he'll probably bring some gear. I imagaine a few lads will be taking essential spares. I'll be packing a few bits n bobs too.
C'mon Ed. You don't seem to have much faith in her. So long as she is in good mechanical order and you don't do anything stupid with it, or park too close to the bonfire, she'll be fine.

Ye of little faith Ed! If it can handle being driven everyday I'm sure it can handle a 150 me trip, I've driven mine all around north France
Re: 2013 SCUK Meet?
i dont have another vehicle either my sj gets used daily to get me to work lolEdweird wrote:Hoooo, over 150 miles to get there, including a lot of M1. Plus if anything decides to give up at the far end, I'll be in trouble. I've got to drive to University in something and unlike most folks on here I don't have another vehicle.

I don't either, well not one that's on the road at the moment. I'm actually driving my Fathers tin top this week as I haven;t had a chance t fix my brakes yet and Karis's SJ is in the workshop getting some love!

If I didnt trust my car to drive 150 miles I wouldnt leave the house. Makes no odds if it breaks down 3 miles from home or 200!

So. Who is genuinely up for wagtail? Post code is CV36 5DP
I don't want to push the issue too much. But as stated some of us are gonna travel a considerable distance and may need to save up to pay for all the fuel and entrance fee and cider and jack daniels.
Be nice to try and get some numbers give, Scottie a chance to work out a cost and book something. I'm guessing it'll be him and Dan doing all the leg work to organise it.
I think we've had enough of the "it's too far, i daren't take my Zuk 150miles" stuff now.
At least once a venue and date is set we can all work out our costs and have a dead line to work to to pay for it.
All i can say is if just the members i've met turn up it'll be an awesome weekend. Off roading, beer, barbecue, good opportunity to trades bits and pieces too with so many of us together.
